Clue of Cthulhu
A downloadable game
You are each friends of Mr. Graves, a philanthropist, author, and Hollywood director in 1920s California. He has invited you all to a party he is throwing to celebrate the upcoming release of his newest film, The Book in the Attic. It is a groundbreaking work of horror fiction, and he expects it to be highly controversial. However, when you arrive at the party, Mr. Graves does not come to dinner. Suddenly, you learn that Mr. Graves will not be attending any more dinners – he is, in fact, very dead! – And along with his corpse is a copy of The Book in the Attic, freshly autographed…
Clue of Cthulhu is a scenario for Call of Cthulhu Seventh Edition for 2-5 players based on nothing at all; but if it was based on a certain mystery board game, it'd fall under parody! Play as Mr. Graves's party guests and solve the mystery of his death - at the risk of your sanity.
This PDF contains everything you, the Keeper, should need to run the game, so long as you have a basic understanding of the Call of Cthulhu Seventh Edition rules. The scenario itself spans 7 pages and the appendices contain maps, NPC stats, and weapon stats. Special rules for character creation are also included.
Approx. play time ranges from 1 to 3 hours.
